DESCRIPTION..

The SMX Laser Tracker 4000/4500 series require an annual calibration to ensure system accuracy. The laser tube inside the Tracker head is a primary standard that does not require calibration. However the environmental sensors (temperature and pressure) are very important to ensure the system calculates the correct wavelength of light when measuring.

Re-Calibration consists of a complete system cleaning to remove the build-up of matter from the cooling system and environmental sensors. These sensors are then tested and adjusted to primary standards that are NIST traceable. We then Tune the system to improve tracking performance and reduce down-time. Finally tracker compensations are run to ensure total tracker performance and accuracy.

• Express Tracker Re-Certification can be performed ON-SITE in 1 day to reduce down-time.
• Normal Re-Certifications are performed in the UK Service Centre. Allow 2 days shipping + I day Calibration.
• Increase tracker performance, accuracy and ensure your measurements are correct.
• Calibrated to the highest Standard using Druck DPI 740 Pressure and YSI 4600S Temperature standards.
• Certificates of calibration are shipped with tracker and uploaded to internet for viewing and printout.
• Important system files from TCU are backed up to the internet and can be downloaded in event of a failure.
